Always wondered if there was a recipe for A-1 Sauce! Great Post!! got my 5

Wow, we love A1, now I can make it at home with all my ingredients. Thanks

Wow. I'll give this a try. Thank you.

When we sit down we can go thru a bottle of this... So I have to give it a try!

Very interesting.....my husband thinks he is "allegic" to raisins and yet he always requests "A1" sauce...thanks

I meant to say "allergic"

Love A1 here too...Thanks...:)

This is great! Thank you. u got my five!

Hello
so very good
and so expensive on the market
but this is wonderfull
i will surely makeit
thanx!

I can't get this recipe to work. I'm using Grey Poupon Dijon mustard, Heinz Ketchup, Heinz Chili Sauce, Heinz White Vinegar, Kikkoman Soy Sauce, Tropicana 100% Orange Juice (No Pulp), and Sun-Maid Raisins. It tastes very, very zingy and doesn't come near to the A1 taste. I've tried altering the amount of raisins and vinegar to be less, but it still has way too much zing. I've tried boiling longer because not even the color matched when I tried only 2 minutes the first time. Any suggestions? I'm boiling on Medium heat for 2 minutes the first time, and the second time, I tried longer to get a more red color. Any help would be appreciated as I use a ton of A1, and this recipe, if it worked, could save me lots of $.
