How to make it

  • Bake cake as directed.
  • When done, poke holes into cake about 1 inch apart.
  • While still warm pour condensed milk into holes.
  • Then pour caramel into the holes.
  • When cake is completely cooled, spread Cool Whip on top of cake and sprinkle with toffee bits.
  • Keep refrigerated.

    Let me just say, I made this cake and the only thing I did different was instead of Heath bits, I bought the Werther hard candies and chopped them in food processor and I made my own caramel..........but it is so delicious. Thanks for such an excellent dessert recipe.
