Parmesan Biscuits Recipe
PARMESAN BISCUITS This recipe came from an estate sale. I obtained it when I purchased the family collection from the Parker Estate in Dallas, Texas in 2006. Date and source unknown. Marked as family favorite.

Ingredients
  • 2 ounces salted butter
  • 2 ounces plain flour
  • 1 pinch cayenne pepper
  • 1 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
  • 2 ounces grated Parmesan cheese

Directions
  1. Cream butter.
  2. Season flour with peppers and work in butter with cheese.
  3. Knead until smooth and chill for 30 minutes or until stiffened.
  4. Roll out onto a floured board to desired thickness.
  5. Cut into small rounds or squares and place on a greased baking tray and flatten.
  6. Prick well with a fork then bake at 350 for 10 minutes then cool on a wire rack.
