Dandelion Wine Recipe
I've always thought that if dandelions were difficult to grow, that they would be prized garden and culinary phenomena. Here's my dandelion wine.

I Love this recipe.......I have made Honey wine......will be trying this real soon.....great post

I have always wanted a recipe for dandelion wine. They're free here you know. What is panela sugar, though? Not sure where to get that or winemaking yeast.

Wondering about the panela sugar and winemaking yeast too. Is it different from brewer's yeast? Love the sound of this. Pretty romantic, don't you think, to make blossom wine, with your own hands, in your own kitchen and lift a glass to the lips of your lover? (and get him drunk and at your mercy too *grin* )

You know I had to have a look at this one. LOL. The ingredients are wonderful. My crop of dandelions is due any time now. :)

By the way panela sugar also goes by the name mexican sugar, unrefined or whole sugar. HTH

Oh haven't seen this recipe in years, my hubby use to make this n honey wine. Thanks for the post.

Like most I have some of the Ingredients at hand.Thank you for the posting.

It is so neat that you posted this. My grandma used to make Dandelion wine when I was a kid. My best memories with my grandma were in her kitchen, watching her make things.
