Rosemary Rice

- 1/4 cup chopped onion shopping list
- 1 garlic clove, minced shopping list
- 1 tablespoon olive oil shopping list
- 1 can (14-1/2 ounces) reduced-sodium chicken broth or vegetable broth shopping list
- 1/4 cup water shopping list
- 1 cup uncooked long grain rice shopping list
- 1 tablespoon minced fresh rosemary or 1 teaspoon dried rosemary, shopping list
- crushed shopping list
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper shopping list
- 1/4 cup shredded parmesan cheese shopping list
How to make it
- In a saucepan, saute onion and garlic in oil until tender. Add broth
- and water. Stir in the rice, rosemary and pepper. Bring to a boil.
- Reduce heat; cover and simmer for 15-18 minutes or until rice is
- tender. Remove from heat and stir in Parmesan.

I really loved this. I was afraid one tablespoon of fresh rosemary would be too much but it wasn't. This smelled wonderful while it was cooking. I always get my onions very nearly cooked before I throw in the garlic as I don't want the garlic to bur...more
