Deep Fried Oreo Cookies Recipe

How to make it

  • PREHEAT DEEP FRYER TO 375 DEGREES F.
  • COMBINE PANCAKE MIX, MILK AND EGGS AND OIL
  • MIX UNTIL THERE ARE NO LUMPS.
  • DIP THE WHOLE OREO COOKIES INTO THE BATTER, MAKE SURE BOTH SIDES ARE COVERED AND PUT IN DEEP FRYER A FEW AT A TIME.
  • YOU WILL NEED TO WATCH THESE AS THE COOKIES TEND TO FLOAT- SO BE SURE TO TURN THEM AND DONT BROWN THEM TOO MUCH , YOU WANT THEM GOLDEN BROWN ONLY .
  • REMOVE COOKIES AND DRAIN ON PAPER TOWELS.
  • SPRINKLE WITH POWDERED SUGAR.IMMED. AND SERVE.
  • THESE ARE BEST SERVED HOT, THEY TASTE DIFFERENT WHEN COLD.

    I got these at our county fair last night. They also drizzled chocolate syrup over them before the confectioners sugar. They are wonderful!

    I love deep fried oreos. I found this recipe and squealed happily, for two reasons - (1.) I *found* it! And... (2.) It's so simple!! As expected, I'm writing this while I'm collapsed on my couch after eating waaaaay too many of these! Five stars!

    In Scotland they have the deep fried Snickers and Milky Way bars! I've never tried one, but I will one of these times I'm over there... I'm sure it will be just HORRIBLE!!!! LOL!!
