OHIO BUCKEYES BALLS ARE MERELY PEANUT BUTTER BALLS BUT THEY LEAVE ONE END PARTIALLY OPEN TO RESEMBLE A BUCKEYE NUT.
Ingredients
- 1 POUND creamy peanut butter shopping list
- 1 1/2 POUNDS powdered sugar shopping list
- 1 CUP margarine shopping list
- 1 - OF chocolate BARK= (OR MAY USE 12 OUNCES chocolate chips AND 1/2 STICK paraffin wax) shopping list
- *************************************************************************** YOU CAN DOUBLE THIS IF NEEDED shopping list
How to make it
- MIX PEANUT BUTTER AND POWDERED SUGAR TOGETHER LIKE PIE DOUGH, THEN ADD MARGARINE.
- CHILL DOUGH BRIEFY IT MAKES IT EASIER TO ROLL INTO BALLS
- ROLL INTO BALLS AND CHILL FOR 30 MINUTES- 1 HOUR.
- MELT CHOCOLATE BARK ***** OR CHOCOLATES CHIPS AND PARAFFIN....... DIP BALLS INTO CHOCOLATE AND LEAVE A PORTION OPEN ON ONE END FOR BUCKEYES OR COVER ENTIRE BALL IF NOT WANTING THE BUCKEYE LOOK.
- PLACE ON WAX PAPER UNTIL SET
- STORE IN CONTAINER I NORMALLY PUT MINE IN REFRIGERATOR. BUT YOU CAN LEAVE OUT IN A TIGHT CONTAINER OR ZIP LOCK BAG
