Melt In Your Mouth Cookies

These are fantastic easy cookies that are very quick to make and taste buttery and just melt in your mouth
Ingredients
- 3/4 cup butter softened shopping list
- 1 cup all purpose flour shopping list
- 1/2 cup cornstarch shopping list
- 1/2 cup confectioners sugar shopping list
- 1/2 cup chopped pecans - try using missouri pecans - much smaller and sweeter than regular pecans shopping list
- more confectioners sugar for dusting shopping list
How to make it
- Preheat oven to 300 degrees
- In a mixing bowl cream butter
- In another bowl combine flour, cornstarch and sugar
- Add flour mix to butter and mix well
- Stir in pecans
- Roll into 3/4 inch balls place on cookie sheet and flatten slightly
- Bake at 300 degrees for 20 to 25 minutes - the cookies should not brown but remain pale
- Cool on wire racks and dust with confectioners sugar
- Try not to eat all of them at once....
