How to make it

  • Separate oysters from liquid, reserving liquid. In large skillet, melt 2 pieces butter, reserve 1/3 piece. Stir in oyster liquid, milk, cream, and oregano. Simmer 4 to 5 minutes. Set off burner, add oysters, garlic, parsley, reserved 1/3 butter, salt, and peppers; bring to a boil. As soon as it boils, turn heat to simmer, let simmer 3 to 4 minutes. Serve hot with oyster crackers.
