Devonshire Cream With Fresh Fruit Recipe

A light dessert to top off any meal...
Any fruit will do to go with this but I find strawberries or blueberries are the best.

Ingredients
- 1 3 0z package cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- confectioners sugar
- 2 1-pt strawberries or blueberries
Directions
- Beat cream cheese with mixer at high speed until smooth and fluffy.
- Add cream, 2 tablespoons confectioners sugar and vanilla.
- Beat this until mixture holds shape.
- Mound high in a serving bowl.
- Arrange strawberries in another bowl and sprinkle lightly with confectioners sugar.
- Serve with cream mixture.

Sounds yummy, though I have a hard time imagining it'll be like the true clotted cream. Still, can't go all that wrong pairing it with scones (without the berries, of course)!
