TACO BEAN DIP

- TWO CANS refried beans shopping list
- ONE JAR hot salsa shopping list
- ONE LARGE onion DICED shopping list
- 2-3 CUPS SHREDDED CHEDDAR OR Mexican blend cheese shopping list
- TWO 8 OZ PACKAGES OF cream cheese shopping list
- ONE LARGE CONTAINER OF sour cream shopping list
- ONE PACKET SPICY taco seasoning shopping list
- 2 POUNDS hamburger shopping list
- lettuce CHOPPED shopping list
- tomatoes DICED shopping list
- tortilla chips shopping list
How to make it
- HEAT TWO CANS REFRIED BEANS ON STOVE, WHEN JUST STARTING TO SOFTEN ADD SALSA TO MAKE SOMEWHAT POURABLE, BUT STILL THICK.
- ADD FRESH ONIONS TO TASTE, COOK THOUROUGHLY, ADD SHREDDED CHEESE AND LET COOK UNTIL MELTED.
- SPREAD OUT ON PAN AND LET COOL.
- SOFTEN TWO LARGE PACKAGES CREAM CHEESE TO ROOM TEMP AND MIX WITH A LARGE CONTAINER OF SOUR CREAM AND A PACKAGE OF TACO SEASONING.
- LAYER ON TOP OF BEANS.
- COOK 2 POUNDS OF HAMBURGER, JUST AS YOU WOULD FOR TACOS – ADD THE TACO SEASONING AND I ALSO USE GARLIC PEPPER WHEN COOKING THE HAMBURGER.
- LET IT COOL THEN LAYER ON TOP OF THE CREAM CHEESE MIXTURE.
- TOP WITH LETTUCE, ONIONS, SHREDDED CHEESE AND TOMATOES. COOL TO DESIRED TEMP, SERVE WITH TORTILLA CHIPS.
