How to make it

  • HEAT TWO CANS REFRIED BEANS ON STOVE, WHEN JUST STARTING TO SOFTEN ADD SALSA TO MAKE SOMEWHAT POURABLE, BUT STILL THICK.
  • ADD FRESH ONIONS TO TASTE, COOK THOUROUGHLY, ADD SHREDDED CHEESE AND LET COOK UNTIL MELTED.
  • SPREAD OUT ON PAN AND LET COOL.
  • SOFTEN TWO LARGE PACKAGES CREAM CHEESE TO ROOM TEMP AND MIX WITH A LARGE CONTAINER OF SOUR CREAM AND A PACKAGE OF TACO SEASONING.
  • LAYER ON TOP OF BEANS.
  • COOK 2 POUNDS OF HAMBURGER, JUST AS YOU WOULD FOR TACOS – ADD THE TACO SEASONING AND I ALSO USE GARLIC PEPPER WHEN COOKING THE HAMBURGER.
  • LET IT COOL THEN LAYER ON TOP OF THE CREAM CHEESE MIXTURE.
  • TOP WITH LETTUCE, ONIONS, SHREDDED CHEESE AND TOMATOES. COOL TO DESIRED TEMP, SERVE WITH TORTILLA CHIPS.
