You always share the most incredible recipes, and I love the little sidebars you put in. It's funny to see your mention of Stevia because Baron and I were just talking about safe non-sugar sweetening alternatives. I loved growing Stevia to make my own tea with, but I didn't realize until recently that it could actually be used to replace sugar. I have Graves Disease, which is an autoimmunue disease, and sugar is one of the things that makes it harder for my system to fight. B found an article pointing out what a great natural alternative Stevia is in a lot of ways, which makes me happy because I'm both addicted to sugar, and hate the dangers attached to the usual alternatives (the body's inability to break down and process aspartame and how it turns a lot of these chemical substitutes into a poison).

Long winded thank you ... ~laughs~ I was just inspired by your mention of this lovely herbal alternative here, and really can't wait to try this.

    Thanks a bunch!
