Ingredients

1/2 cup powdered sugar

1/2 cup sugar

1/3 cup shortening(Crisco)

1 egg

1 teaspoon vanilla

1/8 teaspoon salt

1 1/2 cups all purpose flour

1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder

1 Tablespoon water

Directions

In large bowl combine:

powdered sugar

sugar

crisco

egg

vanilla

salt

Mix the flour and baking powder.

Mix well

Add about a tablespoon of water and mix

Roll the dough into little balls and place on greased cookie sheet

Flatten with your hand

Bake at 325 degrees F for 15 minutes or until they reach the desired golden brown color like the ones that come in the box.
