Ingredients

How to make it

  • Cook pasta in water with 1/2 oz olive oil and 2 pinches kosher salt
  • While pasta cooks, heat 2nd 1/2 oz oil over medium heat, saute bacon, garlic and red onions for a few minutes.
  • Add chicken stock, tomatoes and 2 oz. of reggiano cheese.
  • Let cook a few more minutes, till slightly reduced.
  • Add butter, and stir in until butter is melted.
  • Season with salt & pepper.
  • Add in basil and arugula, then stir in cooked spaghetti pasta.
  • Plate and sprinkle with additional reggiano, then serve

    This does sound darn good. The recipe was confusing but then I figured out that you had "1/2 oz ladle Extra Virgin Olive Oil" listed twice by accident. I LOVE these kind of family style Italian recipes! Thanks for sharing!
