Frozen Peach Salad Recipe

A salad made with delicious fresh peaches, frozen then served in squares. A delight for the summer.

Ingredients
- 2 cups peeled, crushed peaches
- 2 cups miniature marshmallows
- 1/2 cup drained, crushed pineapple
- 1/2 cup slivered almonds
- 1/4 cup maraschino cherries, quartered
- 1/2 teaspoon almond extract
- 2 cups sour cream
Directions
- In a 2 quart bowl, mix all ingredients
- Pour into an 8 inch square glass dish
- Cover with foil
- Freeze
- When ready to serve, cut into squares

I'm going to try it without the marshmallows (don't know if I will add anything in their place or not...) and with a hint of fresh basil next time, to make a less-sweet / more savoury salad slice....
