More for the grill...this is a great way to grill a whole chicken and have it come out tender and moist, just seeping with flavor.

I tuck fresh Basil or fresh sage under the skin of the breast before grilling.

I love beer-in-the-rear chicken!! Always a hit with the guests.
I suggest rubbing on lots of oregano, i do that and it adds so much flavour. Nice post.

Makes the most moist chicken I've ever had this way...

I have made this many times...I have to admit, though, I always feel a little "funny" when I put the bird on the can; like we need to be introduced first :)

Yikes....can't believe I said that!

It is fairly 'rude' and invasive on our part....but once you taste how juicy and tender it makes it....all quilt is out the wind....

This makes the moistest chicken ever. I baste mine with a mixture of 1/2 cup melted butter mixxed with 2 tablespoons garlic powder, n 2 tablespoons paprika. I brush this all over the chicken after placed on can n grill.

Plug the neck of the chicken with a half an onion. Chop the rest very finely and put some in the cavity of the bird. I have a vertical chicken roaster that I place the chicken on. (Got it at Walmart.) I set the roaster in a disposable pie pan, and then sprinkle chopped onion around the bottom. This is THE best way to roast a chicken!! It comes out juicy, moist, and tender. When the weather is not conducive to grilling, I roast it in the oven at 350 degrees.
