  • 14 Hostess Twinkies ( individual cream filled sponge cakes )
  • 2 pkgs of cherry gelatin
  • 2 cups hot water
  • 2 pkgs instant vanilla pudding
  • 1 cup cold milk
  • 1 container of whipped topping
  • 1 jar maraschino cherries

Directions
  1. Place 14 Twinkie in a 9x 13 pan.
  2. Dissolve the cherry gelatin in the hot water and pour evenly over the Twinkies.
  3. Sprinkle on some chopped cherries.
  4. Mix the milk with the pudding.
  5. The mixture will be thick.
  6. Carefully spread pudding over the Twinkies.
  7. Spread the whipped topping over the pudding.
  8. Garnish with more chopped cherries. Chill overnight then cut into pieces.
  9. Note: I even sprinkled on some flaked coconut which I think added more appeal to the dessert.

What are you saying blue! Heck anything with twinkies catches my eye.... since I tend to make things from scratch, I occasionally step over 'the other side' and look for recipes that grab my eye that include pre-made goodies - this one caught me eye but good! Sounds like a great treat for parties. Saving this one.....thanks for posting!
