How to make it

  • Prepare a good stock (I like to use lamb neck) or you can use ready made stock - but it must be top quality
  • Add green beans, onions and potatoes to stock.
  • Salt (be careful not to add too much as the stock is already salty)
  • Boil until green beans are cooked and potatoes soft and water/stock evaporated
  • Mash the green beans and potatoes (I like it rustic - not to finely mashed)
  • Add a bit of milk or cream (to blend the vegtables)
  • Pepper
  • Butter

    Hi Tina, this sound very tasty... I have eaten Tomato bredie before but never thought about green beens. We do a similar lamb stew with green beans and tomatoes so I know this is good by looking at the recipe.. Thanks Again Hope all is well with you and your family..... Jim
