How to make it

  • Brown chicken in a small amount of shortening. Add garlic, rosemary, salt, pepper and vinegar. Cover and simmer for about 30 to 40 minutes. If chicken becomes too dry, add a little water. Uncover and cook 30 minutes or until chicken is tender and most of the liquid has cooked out.
  • This is similar to Adobo, but doesn't have onion or soy sauce. More of a traditional Sunday lunch.
