How to make it

  • Boil sugar, corn syrup and water to hard boil. Stir in peanuts and continue to boil until peanuts pop., (about 295 degrees). Remove from heat.
  • Stir in 1 1/2 tsp baking soda and 2 tbs butter
  • Pour onto greased cookie sheet.
  • Break apart when cool
  • Note: Other nuts such as pecans or walnuts can be used for a different flavor.
