Mango Tango Delite

- For the cake : shopping list
- 1 1/2 C white flour , 1 tsp baking pwd and pinch of salt shopping list
- 125 g butter shopping list
- 1 C Castor sugar shopping list
- 2 egg whites and yolks shopping list
- 1 tsp vanilla shopping list
- 1/2 C luke warm water and 3 tbsp full cream milk , mixed shopping list
- 4 tbsp fruit punch shopping list
- Filling and Topping : shopping list
- 1 C whip cream and 5 tsp icing sugar , beaten until whip forms shopping list
- Set 1/4 part aside . shopping list
- Use the remaining 3 / 4 part with the below puree shopping list
- 2 plus 1 Medium size Thailand mangoes , cubed shopping list
- 4 Medium size Korean strawberries , sliced shopping list
- Puree : shopping list
- 2 Medium size Thailand mangoes shopping list
- 1/2 C caster sugar shopping list
- 100 g cream cheese shopping list
- 2 tbsp plain yogurt shopping list
- Blend everything and fold in the whip cream . shopping list
- Chill shopping list
How to make it
- Pre heat the oven to 175 deg .
- Beat the butter and sugar until creamy
- Add the egg yolks and vanilla
- Fold in the flour and milk alt. starting and finishing with the flour
- Fold in the beaten egg whites
- Pour in a cake pan and bake for 35 mins
- When cool slit into 2 .
- Place one layer back on the cake tin
- Sprinkle the fruit punch on top
- Spread the whipcream
- Sprinkle one mango on top
- Place the other layer of cake on top
- Pour the puree on top
- Spread evenly
- Chill for atleast 4 to 6 hours
