Oh my, this is right up my "taste alley"...I just printed it off and will be trying this for company in May - I already have all the ingredients on hand. I'll let you know how they turned out for me...thank you!

I hope you enjoy it as much as we do.

Quesion- is the crab meat out of a can?
where do you get it?...

if it's canned- do you recommend any particular brand?..

thanks!

Softgrey, I do use canned crabmeat, the kind kept with the fresh seafood, not the kind kept with the canned tuna etc. It does make a huge difference. I have used the backfin, lump, superlump and they were all good. I make sure to buy a good brand, my butcher told me which brand to buy that has next to no shell in it. I don't reccomend the jumbo lump, it gets broken up too much to be worth the cost.

This sounds up my taste ally as Krumkake put it....

Yummmmmmmm...I love seafood....Im gonna make this one soon...

Oh, gotta make this!! yummmmmm

I made this the other night with some junky canned crab and I have got to say, NEVER use cheap crab.
I could see how this could be very good if I had used halfway decent crab.

Please try it again with some good crabmeat, I think you will be glad you did.

This sounds wonderful.
