Two Whiskey Chocolate Mousse Recipe

Ingredients

1/4 cup boiling water

1 TBSP. dark roasted, ground coffee

4 ounces unsweetened chocolate

1/4 teasp. salt

1/3 cup plus 1 cup heavy cream

2 TBSP. butter

8 - 10 TBSP. sugar.( depends on how sweet you want it)

1 teasp. vanilla

1 TBSP. bourbon

1 TBSP. dark rum

Directions

Pour the boiling water over the ground coffee.

let steep for a minute or two....strain

in a double boiler put the chocolate, salt, 1/3 cup of cream and the butter and the coffee flavored water

melt the chocolate and stir until smooth... let cool to lukewarm

whip the 1 cup of cream, adding the sugar slowly , until stiff peaks form

fold the flavorings into the whipped cream

fold the whipped cream into the melted chocolate

makes about 5 cups
