Two Whiskey Chocolate Mousse

- 1/4 cup boiling water shopping list
- 1 TBSP. dark roasted, ground coffee shopping list
- 4 ounces unsweetened chocolate shopping list
- 1/4 teasp. salt shopping list
- 1/3 cup plus 1 cup heavy cream shopping list
- 2 TBSP. butter shopping list
- 8 - 10 TBSP. sugar.( depends on how sweet you want it) shopping list
- 1 teasp. vanilla shopping list
- 1 TBSP. bourbon shopping list
- 1 TBSP. dark rum shopping list
How to make it
- Pour the boiling water over the ground coffee.
- let steep for a minute or two....strain
- in a double boiler put the chocolate, salt, 1/3 cup of cream and the butter and the coffee flavored water
- melt the chocolate and stir until smooth... let cool to lukewarm
- whip the 1 cup of cream, adding the sugar slowly , until stiff peaks form
- fold the flavorings into the whipped cream
- fold the whipped cream into the melted chocolate
- makes about 5 cups
