How to make it

  • In a large pot of boiling water,Cook the pasta until al dente.
  • in a small bow combine the cornstarch,broth,soy sauce,sherry(if using)
  • Hot peppersauce,red pepper flakes,and black pepper,
  • Stir to blend and set aside
  • In alarge skillet or wok,warm 1 tblsp of oil over med high heat.
  • add the ginger and garlic,stir fry until fragrant,about 2 min
  • add remaining 1 tblsp oil and then scallions,bell pepper,cabbage, mushrooms,spinach,and bean sprouts.
  • stir fry until vegetables begin to soften,about 4 min
  • Drain the pasta add it to the skillet.
  • stir in the cornstarch-broth mixture and the cilantro
  • and cook stirring constantly,until the mixture is heated through and slightly thickened,about 2 min

    I just made veggie lo mein yesterday, but I found it to be a bit bland. I think your recipe hits the spot! I can't wait to try this!
