Cherry Almond Mousse Pie

- 1-pie shell baked and cooled shopping list
- 1 can Eagle Brand Condensed Milk shopping list
- 1 square unsweetened chocolate shopping list
- 1/2 tea almond extract shopping list
- 1 jar maraschino cherries, drained, patted dry and chopped; reserve 8 shopping list
- 1 8 oz package cream cheese room temp. shopping list
- 1 cup cold water shopping list
- 3 oz package instant vanilla pie filling shopping list
- 1 cup whipping cream- whipped shopping list
- 1/2 cup toasted almond slivers or slices shopping list
How to make it
- Over low heat combine 1/2 cup of condensed milk with chocolate until melted and thick; about 4-5 minutes. Stir in 1/4 teaspoon of almond extract. Pour in the bottom of cooked cooled pastry shell. Beat cream cheese until light and fluffy gradually add the water, remaining milk, pudding and remaining 1/4 teaspoon of almond extract. Mix until smooth; fold in whipped cream, cherries and nuts. Pour over chocolate in pastry shell and top with left over cherries. Chill at least 6 hours. ENJOY
