Ingredients

1 cup uncooked oats

1 stick butter

1 1/4 cup boiling water

1 1/2 cup honey

1 teaspoon vanilla

2 eggs

1 3/4 cup sifted whole wheat flour

1 teaspoon baking soda

3/4 teaspoon salt

1 teaspoon cinnamon

1/4 teaspoon nutmeg

Directions

Put oats, butter and boiling water in large bowl and let set for 20 minutes.

Add honey, vanilla and eggs.

Add rest of ingredients and pour into a greased & floured long pan

Bake 30 - 40 minutes at 350 degrees F

Excellent plain or iced with a caramel coconut frosting
