Tarragon Beans

- 1 C fresh green beans (about 1/4 lb) shopping list
- 1 C fresh wax beans (about 1/4 lb) shopping list
- 1/4 C chopped green onions shopping list
- 2 Tbl butter shopping list
- 1 Tbl pine nuts, toasted shopping list
- 2 tsp fresh or 1/2 tsp dried tarragon leaves shopping list
- Note: to toast pine nuts, cook in a small skillet over medium high for 5 to 7 minutes until golden, stirring ocassionally shopping list
How to make it
- Place green and yellow beans in steamer basket in medium saucepan
- Steam until crisp tender
- Empty beans from steamer basket into same saucepan when tenderand combine with remaining ingredients
- Cook over medium low about 1 to 2 minutes to melt butter and blend flavors, strring ocassionally
- 4 1/2 C servings
