Orange Delight Recipe

This is a family dessert that has been a traditional Christmas dessert in my life for more years than I can even remember. Makes a large bowl.

Ingredients
- 1 package orange Jello
- 1 cup boiling water
- 2 cans mandarin orange segments
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 pint vanilla ice cream
Directions
- Drain the orange segments into a measuring cup and add cold water to make 1 cup. Make the Jello with the boiling water and the orange juice and water. Refrigerate until almost set - should be a bit wigglier than what it is like normally when it is ready.
- Thaw ice cream until it is soft enough to mix.
- Fold ice cream, sour cream and orange segments into the Jello. Fold in well, but try not to over-mix. Refrigerate until ready to serve.
