Toffee Sweet Rolls

- 12 Rhodes dinner rolls, thawed to room temperature shopping list
- 6 tablespoons butter, softened shopping list
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon shopping list
- 1/3 cup toffee bits shopping list
- Icing: shopping list
- 2 tablespoons butter, melted shopping list
- 1 cup powdered sugar shopping list
- 4 to 5 teaspoons milk shopping list
- 1/2 teaspoon almond flavoring shopping list
How to make it
- Spray counter lightly with non-stick cooking spray.
- Roll combined rolls into a 14x14-inch square. Cover with plastic wrap and let rest about 10 minutes.
- In a small bowl, combine butter, brown sugar and cinnamon until light and fluffy. Stir in toffee bits.
- Remove wrap from dough and spread evenly with butter, brown sugar mixture. Roll up jelly roll style. Using a sharp knife cut into 12 equal slices. Place cut side down in a sprayed 9x13-inch baking pan. Cover with sprayed plastic wrap and let rise until double in size.
- Remove wrap and bake at 350°F 20 minutes or until
- golden brown. In a small bowl combine icing ingredients and mix until smooth. Drizzle over warm rolls.
