How to make it

  • Preheat oven to 350
  • Line baking sheets with parchment paper
  • Mix almond paste, both sugars, flour and egg whites until well-blended and smooth
  • Using a plain piping tip fitted in a pastry bag, pipe one-inch rounds onto baking sheet
  • With damp fingertips, press down any peaks
  • Bake until light golden, about 10-12 minutes
  • Allow to cool on pans before removing from paper

    I love maacaroon recipes mostly coconut and sometimes prepare almond and coconut with almond flour or ground almonds since almond paste is so expensive -!

    OH MY GOSH, I love Almond Paste, these have to be wonderful, I was just in the grocery store today and looked right at a can of Solo Almond Paste and thought oh how yummie, but didn't pick it up :0( Now I wish I had. You have my 5
