How to make it

  • Mix tequila, shrimp and lemon juice in bowl.Marinate 2 hours.Drain
  • Whisk eggs and water together
  • Heat oil in heavy skillet. Dip shrimp in egg mixture, then dredge in flour. Shake off excess
  • saute approx. 2 mn and thenm drain on paper towel
  • melt 1/4 cup butter in saute pan.saute lemon slices and green onions for 3 min
  • add ginger and garlic and saute another 2 min or so
  • stir in flour
  • gradually add wine
  • bring to a boil and reduce to a glaze
  • add 1/4 cup butter and whisk until melted
  • discard lemon slices
  • return shrimp to pan and heat through
  • serve over cooked fettucine and sprinkle with fresh dill
