Ingredients
  • 12 shrimp
  • 1/2 cup tequila
  • 3 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 3 lemon slices
  • 2 tsp minced ginger
  • 2 tsp minced garlic
  • 1 tsp flour
  • 1 cup dry white wine
  • salt/pepper
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 tbsp water
  • 1/4 olive oil
  • more flour
  • 8 oz fettucine
  • chopped fresh dill

Directions
  1. Mix tequila, shrimp and lemon juice in bowl.Marinate 2 hours.Drain
  2. Whisk eggs and water together
  3. Heat oil in heavy skillet. Dip shrimp in egg mixture, then dredge in flour. Shake off excess
  4. saute approx. 2 mn and thenm drain on paper towel
  5. melt 1/4 cup butter in saute pan.saute lemon slices and green onions for 3 min
  6. add ginger and garlic and saute another 2 min or so
  7. stir in flour
  8. gradually add wine
  9. bring to a boil and reduce to a glaze
  10. add 1/4 cup butter and whisk until melted
  11. discard lemon slices
  12. return shrimp to pan and heat through
  13. serve over cooked fettucine and sprinkle with fresh dill
