Wine And Garlic Chicken Recipe
I got this out of the paper today. I am trying it on Friday. I loved the way it sounds and that it has garlic cloves in it. Cook time includes the marinade time.

Ingredients
  • 4 lbs. chicken leg quarters
  • 1 cup dry white wine
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 6 to 8 garlic cloves , crushed
  • 3 lemon sliced
  • 1 tsp. dried thyme leaves
  • 1 tsp. basil leaves
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 bay leaf
  • 1/2 tsp. ground black pepper

Directions
  1. Rinse chicken and pat dry.
  2. Place in a shallow roasting pan.
  3. Combine remaining ingredients, pour over chicken.
  4. Cover with plastic wrap.
  5. Refrigerate 3 to 4 hours.
  6. Remove chicken from marinade, place on hot grill, skin side down.
  7. Cover, grill for 15 minutes.
  8. Turn chicken, baste with marinade, grill 15 to 20 minutes more or until juices run clear.
  9. Note... to Broil........
  10. Place chicken under a hot broiler, skin side up, 10 to 12 minutes.
  11. Turn chicken, baste with marinade, broil, skin side down 20 to 25 minutes or until juices run clear.

Love the sound of this....just a quick question. How much wine? I need to know how much I have left to drink while marinating the chicken! :)
