How to make it

  • Preheat oven to 375.
  • Combine mangoes, lime juice, and nutmeg in mixing bowl.
  • Spoon fruit into lightly greased 8" square baking pan.
  • Combine flour, baking powder, salt and brown sugar in mixing bowl.
  • With pastry cutter, cut margarine into flour until mixture resembles coarse meal.
  • Stir in milk; blend batter until smooth.
  • Spread batter evenly over fruit.
  • Bake cobbler for 20-25 mins. or until lightly browned on top.
  • Allow to cool a few min., then cut.
  • Serve warm with yogurt, ice cream, or whipped topping.
