Mango Cobbler

- 2 Mangoes; peeled, pitted, and sliced shopping list
- 2 tb lime juice shopping list
- 1/2 ts ground nutmeg shopping list
- 1 c flour shopping list
- 2 ts baking powder shopping list
- 1/4 ts salt shopping list
- 1/2 c brown sugar shopping list
- 3 tb Margarine; softened shopping list
- 1/2 c milk shopping list
How to make it
- Preheat oven to 375.
- Combine mangoes, lime juice, and nutmeg in mixing bowl.
- Spoon fruit into lightly greased 8" square baking pan.
- Combine flour, baking powder, salt and brown sugar in mixing bowl.
- With pastry cutter, cut margarine into flour until mixture resembles coarse meal.
- Stir in milk; blend batter until smooth.
- Spread batter evenly over fruit.
- Bake cobbler for 20-25 mins. or until lightly browned on top.
- Allow to cool a few min., then cut.
- Serve warm with yogurt, ice cream, or whipped topping.
