Ingredients
  • 2 Mangoes; peeled, pitted, and sliced
  • 2 tb Lime juice
  • 1/2 ts Ground nutmeg
  • 1 c Flour
  • 2 ts Baking powder
  • 1/4 ts Salt
  • 1/2 c Brown sugar
  • 3 tb Margarine; softened
  • 1/2 c Milk

Directions
  1. Preheat oven to 375.
  2. Combine mangoes, lime juice, and nutmeg in mixing bowl.
  3. Spoon fruit into lightly greased 8" square baking pan.
  4. Combine flour, baking powder, salt and brown sugar in mixing bowl.
  5. With pastry cutter, cut margarine into flour until mixture resembles coarse meal.
  6. Stir in milk; blend batter until smooth.
  7. Spread batter evenly over fruit.
  8. Bake cobbler for 20-25 mins. or until lightly browned on top.
  9. Allow to cool a few min., then cut.
  10. Serve warm with yogurt, ice cream, or whipped topping.
