Ingredients

3Tbs. olive oil

1lg. onion,minced

3 garlic cloves,minced

1lb. ground turkey

3c water

1(28 oz)can ground tomatoes

1 small green pepper.minced

1/2tsp celery seed

1/8tsp cayenne

11/2tsp cumin

1 small bay leaf

2Tbs chili powder

1/4tsp basil

1-1/2 tsp salt

1(15 oz) can red kidney beans

Directions

Heat olive oil in a large pot,add onion and garlic;saute until golden brown.

Add turkey and brown

Add remaining ingredients,except the beans

Stir to mix,bring to a boil

Reduce heat and simmer,covered until the sauce is as thick as desired.

This could be an hour or so.

Add the beans and heat through
