Ingredients
- 3Tbs. olive oil shopping list
- 1lg. onion,minced shopping list
- 3 garlic cloves,minced shopping list
- 1lb. ground turkey shopping list
- 3c water shopping list
- 1(28 oz)can ground tomatoes shopping list
- 1 small green pepper.minced shopping list
- 1/2tsp celery seed shopping list
- 1/8tsp cayenne shopping list
- 11/2tsp cumin shopping list
- 1 small bay leaf shopping list
- 2Tbs chili powder shopping list
- 1/4tsp basil shopping list
- 1-1/2 tsp salt shopping list
- 1(15 oz) can red kidney beans shopping list
- 2 chocolate kisses or a piece of chocolate from hershey bar shopping list
How to make it
- Heat olive oil in a large pot,add onion and garlic;saute until golden brown.
- Add turkey and brown
- Add remaining ingredients,except the beans
- Stir to mix,bring to a boil
- Reduce heat and simmer,covered until the sauce is as thick as desired.
- This could be an hour or so.
- Add the beans and heat through
