Thumbs up for these good cookies that can be filled with your favorite jam.

Ingredients
- 1 cup butter
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 2 egg yolks, beaten
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 1/2 cups flour
- pinch of salt
- 1/4 cup raspberry of apricot jam
Directions
- Cream butter and sugar
- Add egg yolks and vanilla and beat well.
- Mix in flour and salt
- Form into balls just big enough to hold thumbprint.
- Place on ungreased cookie sheet 1 1/2 " apart
- Press thumb into center of each cookie to make indentation.
- Fill indentation with dab (about 1/4 teaspoon) of jam.
- Bake at 350 degrees F for abuot 15 minutes.
- They should still be pale when baked.
- Makes about 40 cookies
