Drunken Black Beans

- 1/2 pound bacon diced shopping list
- 2 onions diced shopping list
- 2 cloves garlic diced shopping list
- 6 cups cooked black beans shopping list
- 2 teaspoons salt shopping list
- 1 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper shopping list
- 1 teaspoon toasted cumin seed shopping list
- 12 ounce can dark beer shopping list
How to make it
- Cook bacon in a deep stockpot over medium heat for 4 minutes.
- Stir in onions and garlic and sauté 5 minutes.
- Add beans, salt, pepper, cumin and beer then simmer 25 minutes.
- Serve warm.

Love these beans...! I think that the 'black beans' would be the best choice, more 'depth' of flavor! That suits the 'dark' beer....
