How to make it

  • Cook bacon in a deep stockpot over medium heat for 4 minutes.
  • Stir in onions and garlic and sauté 5 minutes.
  • Add beans, salt, pepper, cumin and beer then simmer 25 minutes.
  • Serve warm.

    Love these beans...! I think that the 'black beans' would be the best choice, more 'depth' of flavor! That suits the 'dark' beer....
