Drunken Black Beans Recipe

Ingredients

1/2 pound bacon diced

2 onions diced

2 cloves garlic diced

6 cups cooked black beans

2 teaspoons salt

1 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper

1 teaspoon toasted cumin seed

12 ounce can dark beer

Directions

Cook bacon in a deep stockpot over medium heat for 4 minutes.

Stir in onions and garlic and sauté 5 minutes.

Add beans, salt, pepper, cumin and beer then simmer 25 minutes.

Serve warm.

Love these beans...! I think that the 'black beans' would be the best choice, more 'depth' of flavor! That suits the 'dark' beer....
