German Pork And Kraut Recipe

Ingredients

6 bone in center pork chops cut 1/2 thick

3 cans of sauerkraut drained ( each can about 14 oz each )

4 small red apples finely chopped

2 medium onion finely chopped

2 carrots fine chopped

salt and pepper to taste

1/4 tsp celery seed

1/4 cup water

Directions

Cook chops in skillet until browned on both sides.

In a very large bowl stir together remaining ingredients except water.

Pour this over chops in skillet.

Add the water

Bring to a boil

Then reduce heat to a simmer and cover and cook about 30 to 40 minutes until chops are fully cooked and flavors blended.
