German Pork And Kraut Recipe
Very easy dish anytime of the year or for Oktoberfest

Ingredients
  • 6 bone in center pork chops cut 1/2 thick
  • 3 cans of sauerkraut drained ( each can about 14 oz each )
  • 4 small red apples finely chopped
  • 2 medium onion finely chopped
  • 2 carrots fine chopped
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/4 tsp celery seed
  • 1/4 cup water

Directions
  1. Cook chops in skillet until browned on both sides.
  2. In a very large bowl stir together remaining ingredients except water.
  3. Pour this over chops in skillet.
  4. Add the water
  5. Bring to a boil
  6. Then reduce heat to a simmer and cover and cook about 30 to 40 minutes until chops are fully cooked and flavors blended.
