Tomatoes Provencal

- 2 large firm tomatoes shopping list
- 2 small garlic cloves shopping list
- 1 teaspoon fresh rosemary or basil chopped shopping list
- 1/2 teaspoon salt shopping list
- 1 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper shopping list
- olive oil shopping list
How to make it
- Slice tomatoes horizontally into 4 slices each 1/2" thick.
- Peel and split garlic then mash slightly with side of a knife.
- Rub garlic on cut surfaces of tomatoes.
- Arrange tomatoes on broiler pan.
- Sprinkle with herbs, salt and pepper then drizzle lightly with oil.
- Broil until surfaces are blistered then serve immediately.
