How to make it

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees
  • Combine the first five ingredients in a large bowl.
  • Add oil and eggs and stir until all dry ingredients are moistened. (DO NOT BEAT, a wooden spoon is best)
  • Stir in vanilla, pineapple, bananas, and 1 cup pecans.
  • Pour batter into a tube pan that is greased and floured.
  • Bake at 350 for 1hr and 20min or until the toothpick comes out clean.
  • Cool in pan for 10 min and then remove from pan and let cool completely before frosting.
  • Use remaining chopped pecans for decoration.
