Hummingbird Sweets

- 3 cups all-purpose flour shopping list
- 1 tsp. baking soda shopping list
- 1/2 tsp. salt shopping list
- 2 cups sugar shopping list
- 1 tsp. ground cinnamon shopping list
- 3 eggs, beaten shopping list
- 3/4 cup vegetable oil shopping list
- 1 1/2 tsp. vanilla extract shopping list
- 1 (8oz.) can of crushed pineapple, undrained shopping list
- 1 3/4 cups mashed bananas shopping list
- 1 cup chopped pecans shopping list
- 1/2 cup chopped pecans shopping list
How to make it
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees
- Combine the first five ingredients in a large bowl.
- Add oil and eggs and stir until all dry ingredients are moistened. (DO NOT BEAT, a wooden spoon is best)
- Stir in vanilla, pineapple, bananas, and 1 cup pecans.
- Pour batter into a tube pan that is greased and floured.
- Bake at 350 for 1hr and 20min or until the toothpick comes out clean.
- Cool in pan for 10 min and then remove from pan and let cool completely before frosting.
- Use remaining chopped pecans for decoration.
