How to make it

  • Rinse Artichoke
  • Cut off the stem and the tips of the "pointy leaves"
  • Spread the sections of the Artichoke under the faucet and capture some water.
  • Put the Artichoke into a plastic bag (Don't seal it - or it will explode!)
  • Toss the Artichoke into the microwave for 6 minutes.
  • Viola! Done!
  • Serve with Melted Butter with lemon or Mayonaise or.....?

    Wonderful idea..thanks. I do the same thing with corn on the cob...I put several pieces on a plate, add 14 cup of water to the plate and use another plate to cover the corn...set the microwave for 10 minutes and "git er done". Turns out beautiful if you are rushed for time and just craving some sweet corn...
