Sawdust Pie

This is from Patti's in Grand Rivers, KY. Her pies usually have a foot of meringue on top...this one doesn't
Ingredients
- 7 egg whites, unbeaten shopping list
- 1-1/2 cups granulated sugar shopping list
- 1-1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs shopping list
- 1-1/2 cups pecan pieces shopping list
- 1-1/2 cups coconut shopping list
- 9-inch unbaked pie shell shopping list
How to make it
- Mix all ingredients together and stir by hand.
- Pour into unbaked pie shell.
- Bake in preheated 325 deg. oven until glossy and set; about 25 to 30 minutes.
- Do not overbake.
- Serve warm with sliced bananas or other fruit and whipped cream.
