Ingredients
  • 16 oz. Philly cream cheese, softened
  • 16 oz. jalapeno cheese spread
  • 1 finely minced jalapeno
  • 1 small garlic clove, minced
  • 1 can Iron City (or if you're watching your calories, IC Light - LOL)
  • garlic salt to taste
  • 1 t. green Tabasco sauce
  • 1 large round pumpernickle, plus extra to cube

Directions
  1. Combine cheeses in mixing bowl. Mix in jalapeno, garlic, and a little of the beer and mix well on low. Gradually add the rest of the beer, Tabasco, and the garlic salt. Mixture will be a little thin, but will thicken up as it refrigerates. Refrigerate for at least an hour before mounding into hollowed out pumpernickle. Serve with the bread from the middle of the loaf and the extra loaf.
  2. Stand back as the hoardes descend.

I've never heard of iron city, what is that?

My hubby would devour this. Great post, only the iron city gets replaced with Budweiser. You have my 5.

My boyfriend will love this spicy dip. But we may have to use Budweiser because I'm not sure if we have iron city in this ara.

Thanks for the great talegate recipe, think i could use an old rolling rock instead of iron city? lol but sinse I am so close to the pa line maybe a yingling would work better.again thanks for the great recipe.
