that's exactly how i do mine, but i add about a tablespoon of flour for thickness.

Used this tonight and it was fantastic! Thank you so much!!!! Way better than the store bought stuff :-) Oh, and I just salted the raw meet (I used pork actually) and I didn't even need the salt :)

I have been making a similar one for years and I leave out the salt and you would never know, so much cheaper and healthier than the packaged kind.

Awesome. I did add about 1.5T corn starch to the mix, and it thickened up into a great sauce for the ground beef I used.

I have a similar blend that I use except I don't use paprika and I add cilantro.

I agree that this is soooo much better than using the packaged stuff!

Also, its great for foodies who live in places where spices may be available but their different mixes or blends (belonging to different cultures or cuisines) are not available.
