Cajun Shrimp Recipe
This dish can be a main course or appetizer. Printed is the original version. I also make a vegetarian version sans the bacon. Either way works.

Ingredients
  • 3 slices bacon
  • 1/2 lb. oleo
  • 2 Tbsp. dijon mustard
  • 1 1/2 tsp. chili powder
  • 1/4 tsp basil
  • 1/4 tsp thyme
  • 1 tsp pepper
  • 1/2 tsp oregano
  • 2 cloves garlic, drushed
  • 2 Tbsp. crab boil
  • 1/2 tsp tabasco
  • 1 1/2 lbs shrimp / NO shells

Directions
  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
  2. In small frying pan, fry bacon until clear.
  3. Add the oleo and all other ingredients except the shrimp.
  4. Simmer 5 minutes.
  5. Place the shrimp in an open baking dish and pour sauce over. Stir.
  6. Bake in an uncovered dish for 20 minutes - stirring twice.

Oh, I'd have to have the bacon....love the stuff. Can't have too many shrimp dishes.
