Ingredients
  • ¾ cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon dry mustard
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/3 cup cider vinegar
  • 1 small onion, chopped (optional)
  • 1 cup vegetable oil
  • 2 tablespoons poppy seeds

Directions
  1. Place all ingredients, EXCEPT OIL AND POPPY SEEDS, in a blender.
  2. Through the top of the blender, gradually pour in the oil, while running the blender on medium/high.
  3. Mixture will thicken as the oil is blended in.
  4. When thickened, add the poppy seeds and process just until mixed into the dressing.
  5. This dressing will keep for a long time in the refrigerator, in a covered container.
