Ingredients

How to make it

  • Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.
  • Place butter in 9" x 13" baking dish and melt in oven.
  • Take dish out of the oven when butter has melted.
  • Meanwhile, sift flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt together.
  • Add milk and stir with fork just until moistened.
  • Turn onto floured board and roll into rectangle approximately 9" x 13"
  • Score with knife into 1/4" strips lengthwise and crosswise every 2", going almost but not quite thru the dough.
  • Lift scored dough(in 2 halves is easiest)on pancake turners and place on melted butter in baking dish
  • Bake at 400 degrees F for 15 - 20 minutes
