- Granulated sugar shopping list
- canning jars & lids shopping list
- aromatic edibles such as scented geranium leaves, mint leaves, rose petals, citrus peel (orange, lemon, lime, grapefruit, etc.), or vanilla beans. shopping list
- NOTE: BE SURE THE PLANTS HAVE NOT BEEN SPRAYED WITH CHEMICALS! shopping list
- If using citrus peels, first set out for a day to dry. shopping list
How to make it
- Mix small batches.
- Layer granulated sugar with the aromatic edibles of your choice till jar is filled.
- Tightly seal the jars.
- Let sit for a few days while the scents infuse the sugars.
- One jar or a trio makes an unusual gift for someone who could use a little sweetness.
- Also a delicate & lovely topping for sugar cookies or piecrust for a subtle flavor!
