I was inspired by the famous Greek Ravani cake in making those delicious squares as I have seen many recipes for it lately. The addition of yogurt was really great and the semolina flour gave them a little crispy touch.

Ahmed do you think is a good idea maybe to add orange or lemon zest to the syrup, just a touch?

I like this simple but complex recipe, semolina for a bit of grittyness and yogurt for moisture..yummm..I make a quick dessert that has very similar ingreds to this you may have tried called "Golden Dumplings"? maybe I will put them up later...kudos to you again my friend!
