How to make it

  • Cut chicken into 1 1/2" pieces and season with salt & pepper. Dredge in flour and shake to remove any excess flour. Set aside.
  • In large skillet over medium heat, heat oil & garlic until garlic begins to sizzle. Add butter & melt.
  • Add chicken and brown lightly on one side (without turning) about 2 minutes. Turn and repeat. Add mushrooms, sprinkle with salt & pepper and cook, stirring, until they start to soften and brown in places about 3 minutes. Add broth and thyme, bring to boil then reduce heat to medium-low. Cover and simmer gently until firm to the touch and cooked through and the mushrooms are tender, about 4 minutes.
  • Stir in cream, vinegar and Tabasco and heat for 1 minute. Season with salt and pepper and a spinkle of thyme. Serve with noodles.

    This turned out really good. I couldn't get the Oyster mushrooms so just button mushrooms.
