Scotch Eggs

- 6 eggs, hardcooked (note: older eggs peel easiest) shopping list
- 1 lb. of mild (sweet) ground sausage shopping list
- 1 c. seasoned bread crumbs shopping list
- 4 tbs. flour shopping list
- paprika shopping list
How to make it
- Prep time includes hardboiling the eggs
- Peel and cool.
- Separate the sausage into 6 equal parts
- Roll the peeled egg in flour
- Form the sausage around the egg, distributing evenly, following the oval shape
- Roll in bread crumbs to coat
- Let sit while deep fryer comes up to 350 degrees
- Lower eggs into oil and cook till golden - to dark brown.
- Drain on papertowels.
- Sprinkle with paprika
- Cool and serve with fruit and cheese.
